Monterey’s picturesque 17 Mile Drive features a breathtaking turnout point aptly named “Restless Seas” When you exit your car, an ensemble of sea lions can be heard barking in the distance. As you approach the water their chorus is soon overwhelmed by the roar of fiercely competitive ocean currents colliding vigorously in a perpetual contest churning just offshore. Restless indeed.
